No' Captain You are An upstanding fellow who speaks his mind and rightly so. You are correct the Moron should be taken to the cleaners and never allowed to own a Dog again,
Its easy to put a Dog to sleep when its really not the Dogs fault the animal is the one to suffer in that household and then the fool will soon forget what his Dog did once its gone,
Make him suffer now through his wallet
Update on Mia's killer. The criminal case has been heard, several fines (not sure of the amounts). The disgusting thing was this idiot as soon as the Lab was put down went out and got a Boxer pup. The court has ruled he cannot own a dog for I think 2 years and has 30 days to re-home the Boxer. I did not know the court could do that....interesting. Now on with the civil suit. My friend is selling her house and moving, she finds it difficult to be there. She had a small ceremony for Mia and will spread her ashes in her favorite place to romp, she says.
Thanks for all ya'alls feedback...it was a comfort and a help to my friend.
I've heard of weirder rulings. If he violates the ruling in this case he can be jailed. In a civil case he would probably only get a slap on the wrist or small fine for violating the judges' order.
