Sorry, but I can never get the information I am looking for using the search engine here.
Can't wait to get a dog but I have read that it is better to wait until your current puppy is about year and a half atleast, and very stable in obedience and has a rock solid foundation, and social experience??
So my question is; when have some of you introduced a new puppy?
Keep in mind that our pup now is a Choc. Lab as a companion (but we do some basic field trial type of training to have fun together and because her drive and energy is off the chart), and I really don't know yet if I'm going to get a dog for sport or just companion??? So, I'm not looking for answers based on competition folk, as much as I am for companion/family situations?
