I know that some of the more experienced guys with this issue will step in and answer your questions.
I know that with my Mal and now this GSD pup, that I have to be fair in what I am teaching and how I deliver correction.
These two dogs are out of good sport and law enforcement lines so their edge tends to be sharp.
The Mal knew this from day one and the GSD is just now realizing that her teeth can be use for something other than chewing raw diet, tearing chainlink apart and playing ball and tug.
With her, I think she was testing the waters (but ya never know ) ....with my Mal, she will let me know when the correction does not fit the offense.
