Looking for some input re: Bindi my terrior mix. She has done extremely well with the first Basic Obedience Video I got for her. We are looking into putting her into Agility training and seeing if she would enjoy that. She is a high drive dog who needs something to do. What video would you recommend next?
She is about 1 year and 3 months old. We adobted her about 4-5 months ago. She loves to learn and is so quick! She wants more games( that what we call training) What video would best prepare her for agility?
You input appreciated. God bless you.

To me Agility is just a flashy obedience routine. No offense, that is just to let you feel where I am coming from. The dog is commanded to perform over certain obstacles with a high degree of proficiency. To me a cue + a behavior = obedience, regardless of the context.
If you're looking for a Leerburg vid to help you with training your dog in agility I would say go for "Drive, Focus, and Grip". Sure you probably don't really need to train your dog for grip, but the content of the video can teach you how to train your dog in obedience through drive! This can then be applied to drive obedience training on the agility field for the exercises you are training for.
Dear Brad: I agree with you about agility, it is obedience training and I do not think that is looking down on agility. Bindi wants desperately to do something, so we'll try it. I was also thinking of building drive and focus too, thank you for your input.
God Bless you

Sharon - I do agility with my girls also. I have jumps, weaves, and a tunnel for the back yard. During the winter we take agility classes at our club since I don't exactly want to run agility in the snow lol.
Connie is soooo right to suggest Rally-O! It is soooo fun! I'm hoping to start competing in the spring when there are some more local shows...
RE: Ed's DVDs - I have the Basic Obedience and E-Collar training ones. I hope to get the Building Drive for Christmas
