Hey all, I know this might be a long shot, and I wish I had thought about it before. Back in April of 2005, a very good friend and her husband were on their way back from vacation from Texas to Michigan. They stopped at the Flying J Truck Stop in New Caney, TX to eat breakfast. When they opened their camper door, their GSD, Heidi flew out and ran after something. They called and called and could not find her. Heidi was 3 years old at the time, so she would be 5 now. She was about 70 lbs. then. Don't know what she would be now. She had a maroon collar on, but also had a pinch collar on for health reasons to handle her {the owner} She is microchipped, and had all of her tags on her collar also. She is a black and tan. One lazy ear {all the time} We contacted every single vet etc, and dog pound to no avail. We are thinking that someone picked her up, and because of the pinch collar thought that the owner was being cruel and did not want to try to attempt to find the owner. She is a very friendly dog and would go with anyone! Have any of you seen her or know of her wearabouts?
