Some people recommend 60%, others only 30%, others fall in between...I'm going to be making some adjustments in my feeding plan and am debating on changing the amount of RMBs I feed.

IMO, that totally depends on what you mean by RMBs.
If you mean parts of a whole prey animal, using up the whole thing in a few days, then that's pretty much the diet, throwing in the organs at 5-10% and a little produce.
If you mean chicken backs, I add muscle meat unless they are especially meaty.
I have to laugh, Connie, because I thought to myself that I should add what I was feeding as RMBS...but then, my lovely Kira was barking to go out so I quickly posted lol.
I think it is important to mention that I buy pre-ground RMBs from a Michigan company...my EPI dog does better when the food is ground and I'm too lazy to do it myself...
Anywho...I feed the following:
20 days a month - whole ground chicken & whole ground turkey
10 days a month - ground chicken necks & ground turkey necks
I mix and match, but that's about what my order looks like. I also feed THK here and there, along with about 4 days a month of Wellness Core. I also feed grocery store finds on occasion.
I feed additional muscle meat for variety...usually beef, occasionally fish. She doesn't tolerate pork.
She is actually doing incredibly well...she isn't even on prescription enzymes other than those in her over-the-counter supplements. I have to watch her weight now...what a change lol!
Maybe this will help too...The break down is 26 oz a day - 10 oz muscle meat/organ meats and 16 oz of the RMB mixtures.

P.S. I have one adopted senior who does great on raw, after a lifetime of bad kibble. (In fact, it turned around his coat, skin, allergies, ears, etc.)
But he throws up when I try to change up the protein source from poultry to anything else, unless it's like a tablespoon.
EXCEPT wild white fish fillets, which I get cheap, frozen, at Trader Joe's.
So when he has poultry necks, the additional muscle meat is fish fillets, with just the occasional little bit of red meat.
I would like more variety, but it seems acceptable; he does get yogurt, the occasional egg ....
