I had noticed a small white spot on my dog's eye the other day, the other eye had one also about the same spot and size. Kind of horse-shoe shaped, hard to see unless the light hits it just right. I took him to the vet and she said it was corneal dystrophy and said there wasn't anything I could do and just do a wait and see, sometimes it gets bad, sometimes it doesn't. Has anyone dealt with this? He's a german shepherd and just turned 2 the end of July.
Thanks Cindy and Connie, I will try and find an ophthalmologist for a 2nd opinion and thanks for the links. I hate the 'wait and see' and there is 'nothing you can do' attitude myself, that is why I thought I would ask here, I knew someone could point me in the right direction.
