Is there any good weight gain supplement? He's 14 month old GSD 28" at shoulder and 63#, feed 4 cups twice a day Innova large breed and grizzly salmon oil, plus his training treats and I am guilty of sharing my food. He's fully vetted and no problems just EXTREMELY EXTREMELY active. I'm thinking it's adolesence and it'll catch up but I would like to see 5 pounds on him he looks like a scrawny street dog when wet. Don't want anything that will make him more ADHD than he already is.
Can't remember bag feeding. No worms, I check him about once month since he goes everywhere with me. Just did a 3 days of panacur.
We are gone 7 am to 11 pm every day, barely time to feed myself no time to prepare raw. Price is issue as well. Would love to be able to try premade raw but sometimes refrigeration is issue.
I don't think he needs to gain much weight think people have gotten used to seeing overweight dogs so ideal weight looks thin. He just needs about 5, hip bones stick out. His coat is awesome so it covers a lot, but he still gets comments on thinness. It's been difficult to get him to 63# I was so happy to see it raising he'd be stuck on 58.
i have used peak performance 2 on amstaffs that you couldn't put a pound on to save your life, and it's worked pretty well. as long as you are working the dog, they'll gain muscle. if you aren't working them, they'll turn into sausages on this stuff!
