Robbin, for Person 1 that I want to quote, I just hit quick quote, the full text comes up with HTML included already, then delete what I don't want.
Then I repeat for Person 2 that I want to quote. And so on. You can keep hitting quick quote for various posts all within your single reply. You don't have to open any new pages at all.
And, you can even respond within the text if you want to, by using a different color text to show the difference. Yuko and I had to do this all the time because our PMs would be too freaky-long to keep closing the quotes! See?

Er...I think I understood that last one...well maybe not.
Sure you do, Robbin!
Okay, let's try this one, how do you use emoticons in a post that you are quick quoting? The option to do so isn't offered in the conventinal way..
Of course that last one you have to do in regular quote, not quick quote.
Not sure if I answered your question or not, but it was my best college try!
