I have been asked to cross post this about a Dog that has been missing in Arizona since Oct. 27th. What makes this so tragic is the family and breeder are doin EVERYTHING humanly possible to find him, but the incompetence ot their local humane society hampered things. The family is devestated. The owner served two tours in Iraq and I just thought if any of you live in AZ or know anyone who does you could look.
I wasn't sure where to post this, so if it's in the wron place, move it. Thanks.
The Humane Society of Southern Az. and the Pima Animal Care and Control, both in Tucson, AZ. RECEIVED A CALL ABOUT A FOUND, INTACT MALE RIDGEBACK ON NOVEMBER 25TH!!!! OMG is right!
The Humane Society has a FILE for Corbin......they never disclosed the call to Corbin's owner on dozen's of visits. So we get the name and number, google the address and head down to the North End of the Air Force Base Long Story Short YES! Corbin!!!!!! Had him (and his little black dog friend) for 3 WEEKS!!!!! No, never checked for Chip. Figured the animal shelters would give their info to the rightful owners. Dog escaped their yard before Christmas. Now before you all start thinking they are lieing........NOT..........4 neighbors verified story.

The current reward for Corbin's safe return is currently around $1,000. If Corbin is found by a member of our community who would like to donate that reward to a Ridgeback Rescue Organization, I will double the reward fund collected. That would be $2,000 as it stands now.
If anyone has any questions, please contact me privately. This is my work email and I can also be reached at home at ramnes@rhodesian.info
Information that may help can be found at ww.aegisridgebacks.com There are photos of Corbin, his contact phone numbers, a map of his recent known sightings, etc. Please visit this website if you are able to help in any way.
I'm sure all of us know the rules for approaching a scared dog, or what to do in a situation like this, but here is a good link for those benefit from a few tips: http://www.azgreyhoundrescue.org/html/lost-and-found.html

Corbin was NOT adopted out by the Human Society or Animal Control!!!
He was REPORTED FOUND to each of them and the information was never disclosed. Even when his owner called minutes after they told Beth about the call, they said they didn't have any reports!!!!
This search could have ended 6 weeks ago and now Beth is on foot following a lead near the original lost area. A large BLEEDING brown dog. No sight yet, but she is on the trail of the fresh blood. I told her to collect some blood. Both of Corbin's parents are DNA'd and maybe we can at least find out if it was him, if she doesn't locate him.
Just keep praying or crossing fingers or lighting candles or whatever you do : )

This is terrible and shame on Humane Society in Tucson! I have lost respect for them serious. They refused to do TT testing and do other things right. Anyway, I hope that the owner find the dog in time. Are they looking for someone to help? I'm more than happy to help. I'm going to contact the owner to see what I can do to help the situation.
