I did a search with no results, so sorry if this has been discussed before.
Any thoughts on this new product that I saw at my local store called "Dog-Wa"?
It is "USP purified water with natural extracts of leafy greens for dogs". They claim that it gives the benefits of fresh, leafy greens in a form that dogs can easily digest.
Would this be a good substitute for blended veggies?

From their site: "Ever notice your dog eating grass? We did, and wondered what was missing from his diet."
I've seen dogs eat poop, but that doesn't mean I'm interested in liquid version of it.
"We also learned that, although dogs crave leafy greens, they cannot effectively digest grass. That explains why so many dogs get sick after eating it."
Maybe they crave it 'cuz it's the dog version of syrup of ipecac!
"We based our formula on the nutrient requirements of a healthy, medium size, adult dog. For such a dog, we recommend up to 4.75 fl. oz. of Dog-Wa a day. . . "
So a quart - $13 - would barely last a week. My GSD gets less than 1/4cup of veggies a day, so I'd have to freeze $13 worth veggies, 'cuz it'd probably last 1 -2 months.
No thanks. I stick to veggies from the market. It's really no hassle.
I think the whole "Ever notice your dog eating grass?" sales pitch is a little goofy, too. I think dogs eat grass for other reasons that bottling grass water has nothing to do with.
I would either pulverize your own veggies, feed tripe, or don't worry about veggies.
