This may sound strange, but is it ok to give a rabies shot to your dog in the winter months? I read somewhere that you shouldn't. My pup is 8 months now and hasn't had his yet, it's the law around here to get it at 4 months so I'm alittle over do.
Also, I've been kinda nervous about him getting one because when he got his 2 sets of puppy shots he started having bad itchy skin problems. He would scratch and bite so hard that he put sores on his back from it. He is over that now but I'm just worried.
And one last thing, how do you post a picture on the website? Its funny, I usually am on the forum when I'm at work and I coulnt figure out why everyone was saying how nice everyones dogs looked??? I've just figured out the pics are blocked at my work

I would read up on vaccinosis, and then I would find out if there is any way to get a waiver due to the reaction from his puppy vaccinations. That's strictly MHO.
I've read the article about vaccinosis and I've come up with the question: What do you do about dogs you compete with but do not want to vaccinate? Aren't vaccinations required? What about the required rabies vaccinations?
My dog had a BAD reaction to the "nasal vaccine" of Bordetella, so when we had to get her booster a month later she had the needle vaccination instead. This was before I read about vaccinosis though.

I do titers on my dogs and the vet writes me a "letter" or certificate with the results.
