I've been finding the battery in the collar on my Dogtra 1700 doesn't seem to last as long as the transmitters battery. Even in storage. Is this something that others are finding?

Hi Geoff,
I have the 1700 too....
My batteries seem to last forever, and I guess I have never noticed one lasting longer than the other.....interesting....

I have the same brand and model and yes, I've noticed the same thing. I figured it's cause the battery in the collar emits a lot more electricity when used than the transmitter uses when a button is pushed. (In my very limited almost non-existent understanding of electricity .)
It seems like I'll charge my collar 3-1 ratio vs the transmitter. Mind you I use the vibrate a lot and it will be on her outside it is pretty cold up here right now. -22c
