Wow, love the shipping times, but I'll count on a few wks so I will be pleasantly surprised if its sooner
I can't switch up hands for now. Hopefully that will change soon.
As I said, I've started keeping a treat or 2 in my hand so I'm not reaching into my pocket, to try not to have the pocket reaching be the marker. I am doing the 'yes!' and waiting a second before the reward. I'm also trying to get him not to act like a jack in the box when I bend down to either pet or treat as a reward, lol Thats the problem with a pug, bending is definately required!

You can always switch things up and spit the treat, leaving hands out of the equation all together. You'll see Ed do this in the video. His aim is really good...After 2 years my aim still needs work.
Nice thing about spitting treats is it makes the dog focus on your face.
Just make sure you have treats you like as much as your dog does.
From the mouth...*gack* I'm using liver treats. Hmmm...too bad chocolate is a no no, I'd be ok with that in my mouth!
Adding..apparently multitasking isn't my forte today...I'll def keep those bait bags in mind, but my budget is blown right now, having ordered the DVDs. Thinking a fanny pack could sub in for a while...hmmm...

Edit reason: adding info
Don't they have 'chocolate' treats for dogs? (Carob, or something, actually...) I don't think Leerburg sells them, but I've seen them on another pet supply site I use....
