I saw that LB started carrying bully sticks and that they were pretty popular. I picked up a few at the local pet store and gave them to the dogs when I got home. They lasted all of 10, maybe 20 minutes. Dogs definitely enjoyed them, lol, it was quiet for the first time in a while!
Just wondered, are there any health concerns with feeding these? Anything they consume so quickly makes me wonder if they're just gulping it down...

I like giving them. I DO watch one of the dogs who will try to swallow it as soon as it's under 10 inches long.
I am not sure of the brand of Bully Sticks you had, but we carry the Bravo kind here at Leerburg.
I took some home to my 2 Mals that are VORACIOUS chewers, and they lasted an hour or so. I was ready for them to be done in minutes, but they really impressed me. This is not to say your dog won't get through them faster, but a different brand than the one you had might be worth looking into. I know that Cindy tested quite a few brands for staying power and smell before she decided to carry the Bravo brand.
Incidentally, my 6 month GSD pup has been working on hers for DAYS and it is a great treat for teething (I think it has saved many shoes)
I got my bully sticks last weekend from LB. They are MUCH better quality than what I have been able to find locally.
Well worth the price and will keep the most voracious chewers occupied for a good long time...
