i cant control my gsd when their are kids playing soccer on the field i take him to, when there is no ball and they just runung around or playing his fine, i try to lure him away with treats but he wont even look, i'm afraid he may hurt someone(like the smaller children. i work shifts so the times i walk him is not always easy
Start training focus and control, at home. Once he is solid and will ignore distraction at home, up the ante a little.
In the dog's defense, it's a pretty tall order to expect any 6 month old dog, with even moderate prey drive, to be able to ignore children running and kicking soccer balls.
At 6 months old, he is old enough for a prong collar, but I'd spend a lot of time practicing focus, and not depend on the collar as a crutch.

Heck, with the conversion rate, you'll probably make out like a bandit, too! Lord knows I got ripped off converting from US Dollars to Euros last time I was overseas.
