I'd guess that if they can live as far north as Alaska, they could be up there in Ontario. One of the wikipedia references is from the Agriculture Canada Monograph. I'm really glad this was mentioned because that must be what's bitten my dog (and me). True undercarriage and legs are a mess of welts and, like Angela, I've gone over him and found no fleas. I've been using Benedryl and an anti-itch cream and it seems to help somewhat. I'm not sure if flea meds would help with this. True
