Does anyone know if there is a best time to feed a dog, morning and or evening? I have fed mine in the afternoon 3:00 due to ending the day with the food as a reward for their training. (I do reward as we train with tiny treats) Is there any official recommendation? I was wondering maybe I should feed earlier so they can work some of it off. What do you think?

Personally, I don't have set feeding times. I like it random. They are less likely to have bile throw up, and don't start watching me and begging at feeding time. Sometimes I feed them quite late, and it's never seemed to bother them at all.
I think it really is whatever works best for you and your dogs.
I just try to remember the rule of no strenuous exercise 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals.
Shody: I knew about no strenous exercise after eating, but not before, I will have to watch that.
Thanks for your input. Just wondering. I feed same time every day usually, unless like tonight I got home from the vet late.
They never beg, of course they are high energy terriors who are always busy, busy, busy.
Thanks again.
Thanks everyone, this morning he ate the chicken back(yesterday, he never did eat anything),then i gave him the other "fun" stuff that he likes, so ill keep going with this and see what happens!!!
