You are right, I'm not even thinking I know anything compared to you guys. I've emptied my cup, and I appreicate your input.
I may pick one to train in Protection, probably the Male GSD. But still train the other two in the other stuff. I'm only trying to control these dogs, by keeping them busy doing what we like to do, train. When I say they are good dogs, I'm not saying their your quailty good dogs, they are not Schulzthund or titled candiates. You made a good point, I will use this information to better them and me.

Why do I need three PPT dogs?
It because its what they do, they enjoy it and so do I. There are no unusual threat elements in my life . Its just fun, gives them a purpose besides sleeping and being bored.
I get in trouble with my wife the same way telling the end instead of how it happened.
The 1.5 yr. old sometimes doesn't bite full, sometimes she does. And she maybe stressing but I can't tell because their no sign of avoidance. She seems to enjoy doing it. Most of her movement is toward the decoy or prey.
The reason she is off lead, is this is the off lease bite, where we let her have the tug/shelve (claim her prey, carry it off). Its were I let her go to presue the decoy. Is there another way to do this so she still can gain the confidence of working on her own? I thought that was her time with the prey. You certainly don't follow behind her hold on to the lead, at this point?

No my dogs are not 100% sometimes they have some good days and sometimes they have some bad days. when I have to change the tone of my voice. This is without me slowing them down.
But I'm not 100%, nobody or nothing is. I know you should attempt to attain this, but too many repetition can make training boring for a dog, unless you can make it fun. So I keep it short and progressive, I'm not racing but we are learning (some of us) and having fun.
Richard/Shep girl/Crabtree/VanCamp/Lonnie....
How many reps do you suggest? If they do it right 7 out 8 times, we move on. Until the next day then back to the same ob or training session. Bite work is short and brisk, unless a problem occurs.
So I'll keep working on them and working on the real problem. You guys aren't tell me anything I don't already know, the problem is me. Like I mentioned everything is relative, their not Champions nor or they titled. Their Pets that have the potential to do work.
To all of you, I'll try to implement these ideas.
And I thank you for your incouragment (to study this trade) and your insight.
Isn't it better to know then, never know at all.
This is a control issue here, don't you think their better to know when/where/why/not to bite and can be called off before they strike.
