With winter coming on my sweet Loki is cold, he has very short greyhound like fur and absolutely no undercoat. When he goes camping or even on long walks with us or to the park he wears a neoprene jacket in the winter because he just shivers any time it is below about 40.
It is cold here today and while he played fine outside when he came in he dove under a blanket on the couch and snuggled up.
But I worry about his houndog ears. They aren't super long, but they do reach his nose, and the are fairly thin with not a lot of hair on them. They are always cold to the touch when he comes in from outside and I am worried about longer exposure to the cold. He has been going on walks with Yote and I so that is about an hour in the morning and 1.5 in the evening/night at a time in the cold.
Is this even a valid concern or I am being paranoid?
and if so is there anything I can do about it..Doggy earmuffs LOL??
