We are going to Northern Lapland on an Arctic snowmobile safari day after Christmas returning the 6th January....I think I might be wearing all the clothes in my suitcase at one time...but what stories we shll have to tell our Grandkids (assuming we have some)...and assuming we dont kill ourselves or freeze to death...Happy Christmas everyone

This is my observation with my dogs. The last couple of weeks it has never gone above 15 degrees F. The lows has been single digit or slightly below 0 degrees. The dogs play outside in the snow for a couple of hours at least.
I watch for the male to start lifting one of his paws. The female doesn't seem to be sensitive at all to cold paws.
I bring them in when the male's paws get sensitive to the snow and ice.
The wind chill has not been too much of a factor.
After a half hour warm break they are ready for more.
