Good post and really true. I have a 1 year old and a 12 week old that ate a 20lbs bag years ago. Both spend 2 day in the hospital and it taught me be more careful. Food is always properly contained and away from any naughty dogs.

My dog did this once when he was a pup. My BF wasn't paying attention and allowed him to gorge himself. I came home to find a blimp on 4 legs (that my BF didn't think I'd notice) and my first thought was "bloat" too. I couldn't believe how huge he was.
The purge the next day was, as you put it, "another story."
