I had a bully breed that had this. My vet told me not to worry about it. I let it go. Then after so much time I noticed that a hole was formed in the inner gum. This was the canine. If I were you I'd pull it. I have a reliative who is a dentist and analyzed it. He said before the vet even knew, to pull it. Its causing malformation of the dental palet and will cause disfigurement.
End result? My vet said the adult tooth will realign. My relitive said it won't. I waited. The adult tooth when fully grown in was in the gum and not going to the normal scissor bite like they should have...
PULL IT...
Screw that. He could still eat, bite, etc. but it wasn't natural. I had to consistantly pull crap out of his tooth as it got caught up into the hole. From fully stuff chew toys to grass. It sucked. I know now I'll NEVER let that happen again. I will have them pulled. Not something that happens often but I pull them when they are about time. I have experience now. If its loose and hanging on I take care of it. If the secondary tooth is growing in, I pull the primary of ONLY that tooth.
