I have recently read Guy's book (30 Years of European Rottweiler Breeding), however, he does not cover the Yugoslavian bloodlines in the book. However, I have observed that these dogs are becoming more prominent and am curious if anyone has any information pertaining to these dogs. Specifically, I am looking to uncover the most prominent/famous working bloodlines, breeders/kennels, breeding standards, dominant influences, and so on. Any information is always appreciated.
There is a reason for no info on working lines from this area...there aren't any. They are breeding for nothing but heads and size. Way too many IPO1's and nothing more ever achieved. Anyone who thinks most of the titles received by these dogs are legit only needs to realize how many people send dogs back to the old Soviet block countries for their 3 week IPO title.

Thanks for the response. I see many of today's breeders mixing conformation/show lines with working lines in order to attempt to get the best of both - personally I do not think that is possible but certainly a lofty goal.
Some of the more experienced breeders manage to combine the working lines and show lines to improve a bit here and there but to find a show dog that shines on the field happens once in a blue moon. I believe you can get a decent working dog that still can get a solid SG or perhaps a V rating in the Sieger ring but nothing that's going to take home the gold. It's not just the Rottie people... just about every a-typical working breed is going that route.
