Thanks guys... I'll definitely give this more thought. I've sent a PM to Cindy asking for more info/clarification. Falcon is good on "Leave It" for dropped food, a pen on the floor, etc.. but not yet with another dog if he wants to play. I've just started "upping" the distractions when working on this - tossing a treat nearby, etc... Maybe it is just a time/maturity thing in regard to the cats, but it has been almost eight weeks since we got him and I guess I had hoped/expected it would be resolved by now. Our other dogs (over the years) have come into the house much younger so getting them accustomed to the cats was much easier. (Falcon came to us at 4 months old and simply hadn't been around cats.)
I'll watch the DVDs again tonight (we have about five now...) and sleep on things.
