is there a crate training article on here somewhere? I thought I had seen one before, but I cant seem to find it. My eyes hurt from reading all of the other great articles I came across though <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Basically want to learn how to go about it, do' sand dont's, pro's and cons, how long, etc.

I have the 8wk to 8 month dvd on order also.

But in a nut shell I believe that a crate is good it gives the dog its own place to go to when it wants to be by its self once it learns that it is his place . Ever been around a colic baby ? Put the pup in there and leave it there except for supervised play time and to go out side and I feed my dogs in their crates too. It will carry on and on and on and on and on ignore him ,live with it ,it is the begining of his training and learning that you are the boss.

Only a few times did my dogs have an accident in the house as pups and they were all our fault! Like the pup knows what wait for a commercial means !!! Still missed some of the show cuz now I had to take the dog out anyway and clean the mess !! You can train them or they will train you <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> its one or the other .
