I saw an ad today for a Panda GSD. I have never heard of that in my life, the picture is a black and white puppy. Has everyone else heard or seen this before. I was shocked!
Thanks for all the links, I still can not believe it. I can't see why anyone would actually pay money for one of these dogs... I can see giving one a home if being rescued, but, to actually go out and purchase......

lol....i keep joking that's what tucker is.
He's a mutt of course, but I figured i'ld boost his confidence up by claiming he's a panda shepherd.
here's a link to a Kennel that sells them. It's quite an interesting read if you click on the Genetic Panda Info link at the top. She tries to expalin why the Panda Shepherd is in reality an actual German Shepherd. http://www.pandashepherds.com/

Edit reason: forgot to add link
Wendy: Are you sure tucker is not a panda shepherd? He
sure looks like one. You can boost his confidence by calling
him a bi color panda!!!!!.Just Kidding, I'm being ugly and I have
no right, I own a white shepherd!!!!!!!!!!

Alyssa: I couldn't agree with you more. Genetic mutation is a
scarry scenario, who know's what kind of problems will show up
down the road? However, being a white shepherd owner I feel
I have no room to talk when it comes to GS Standard in general.
Just look at the show quality GSD,s we have now.Over-angulated rear ends that look like rabit legs, wouldn't have one if it was
given to me.(Sorry show folks) thats my personal opinion.
I prefer the old type straighter rear leg, less angulated.
This particular breeder likes the Panda, only time will tell
the genetic problems this creates if any. Buyer beware.
