I am back, and so far, so good. I had my first day of chicken backs with Salmon Oil. I realize it has only been one day, so, how many days should I go before adding something else? And what should I add next?
Tomorrow will be 3 days with salmon oil back in right?
Are you back to the full dose of salmon oil? If not, that would be next.
If so, then you could probably start back into your regular rotation of foods.
After you are back to a normal "routine", the probios and enzymes you use could be next.
Last, and after everything else is done, then the vit. C, making sure not to over do it.
I read back, and you said the poop was formed, but soft. Would you say this happened ALL the time, even when really boney meals were fed?
Personally, I don't consider that diarrhea, or very abnormal. Some meals have softer outcomes. If the poop wasn't consistently soft, I wouldn't worry too much. If the meal was particularly meaty or contained much organ, it could be softer.
In your "journal"(do something funny with that Alyssa.:grin was there any correlation at all to the meal fed the previous day? Or maybe the bowel movement could've been softer due to being sped up a little by the dog exercising? I have to time my dog's meal to our exercise. Or else he will poop softer and more frequently through our walk or jog.
