That's insane. I wish that we had tougher animal abuse laws but a lot of the times even when they are punished its not for the full term or they get charged a fine. These ppl need to feel some real pain just like what they inflicted on the animal I think.
This woman needs to be spayed before she has a chance to breed, and teach her kids that this type of behavior is acceptable. As for her punishment, I say let if fit the crime, tape her up to the side of something.
It's things like this that make me love my dogs more than most people.
What's even sicker is if the mistreated dog was to defend itself it would probably be PTS.For the dog it would be a blessing I'm sure for what kind of quality of life does it have?
