I have had two dogs diagnosed and treated like this, and both did great, but I would want to be very sure, as mentioned, that the diagnosis was definite. This (O.P.) sounds so casual and even borderline to me .... JMO ...
Well I am on the down with vets right now, being in small town my options are limited. When she was doing a physical on fero I had told her he was neutered and he had a retained testical which the vet who did the surgery couldnt find. well when she was pushing in his groin area on the right side it was sensitive and he whined and when she checked it again he growled so there is a big possibility his testicle is still in there and growing so now I have to look into a ultrasound to verify....which will require a trip to colorado... I will ask about additional tests, if she doesnt agree I will try elsewhere -
AGREED!!! Never give any living creature who has a thyroid a pill unless it is proven beyond reasonable doubt that pill is needed. YEs, on your side connie...
