Hello: My name is Susan. I am new to this forum. I am also fairly new to dog training. My question is this? Can anyone teach me an easy way to teach my dog the swing finish? THANKS! PS I just purchased the basic obedience video.

Hi Susan
I first teach the come fore,(sitting directly in front ofyou facing you ,within inches. At that point I take the leash as close to the dog as possible. Give the command, Heal,or swing. At that instant I take one step back with my left foot, at the same time pulling or guiding the dog forward and past my left foot doing a left about turn to a seated finish in the heal possiton.
Then just repatitions. Lots of praise and treats at the finish.
