Even at 6 mos, I think 3 meals a day is too much. But that's not an across the board opinion. I tend to really try to go prey model, and predators do not even eat every day sometimes, let alone 3x a day.
I wouldn't mix kibble w/raw w/that short of a window, bottom line.
It is the pup in my sig pic; she's 5 months old. I was planning on going to two feedings a day once she hit 6 months which will be in a couple of weeks.
Why not eliminate lunch and feed kibble in the am and raw at night?
This is the option I am exploring (assuming her stomach can handle kibble & raw) once I switch to two feedings per day, which will be in a couple of weeks. Is there anyone else who has done this with success? Would there be much of a difference in digestion time if I fed kibble in the am and raw in the pm or vice versa?
I wanted to add that I am also considering what Connie suggested and feeding THK. Anyone with feedback on feeding THK with RMBs would be greatly appreciated!
