I have posted and searched sites and organization Schedules till Im blue in the face.It seems that the big apple is a big dud when it comes to these types of things. Surely I cant be the only one with this interest. there has to be a class or worthy notable seminar I can attend and get my feet wet. any one know of something here please post or e-mail me. I would be most grateful

Something that is hard to come by in most urban areas. Doing the protection training and off-leash obedience in a public area can draw a lot of unwanted attention. Even tracking on a long-line in a public park can be bothersome to some folks. Will's right. You are going to have to travel a bit. If you just want to watch, Leerburg's has a number of videos of old Schutzhund events. FWIW, about half our club members drive over an hour each way for training sessions. I'm holding out hope that Will will host a seminar with Bernard next year. I have a bunch of relatives downstate from him and need an excuse for a road trip.
