BRILLIANT suggestion! I have no trouble getting Ripley (a 65 pound Lab) into the tub now, and feeding him there will only help. I can't wait to see the look on his face when he finds food in the tub instead of shampoo.
Lol, good point. Sometimes I wonder about her tracking it over the house if she lays on it while eating her crate, though.
I hadn't thought of using the tub! I might try that even just for a week or so to teach her how great the tub can be...that would make bathing in the winter months a little more enjoyable.
Thanks for all of the responses. I feel a little more comfortable now about the whole raw process, knowing what other forum members do.
Mike, I loved the video you posted of Turbo dragging his turkey off!
The past two times we have fed Max (15 mo. male gsd) 1/2 chickens, he has turned around and filleted it for us! He ate everything but the breast. The first time, we thought it was a fluke, tonight we know. I have never heard of a dog regulating his meat/bone ratio. No more 1/2 or whole chickens...just backs, necks and leg quarters when chicken is on the menu.
