I'm wondering if any of you have used this harness. I know they sell them on Leerburg. I got to have a couple hours with a good trainer a few weeks ago to get some help with working towards therapy dog certification. Kasey doesn't strongly pull, just wants to be out ahead of me and there's usually some tension on the leash. Anyway, she suggested that I could do his 'casual heel' training with the regular buckle collar, but when we go on exercise or fun walks, we can use the Sense-ation harness. That way we can walk with out having to be in training mode and expecting the heel, but it will help with any pulling.
We got one last week and have gone for several walks with it and he doesn't seem to care that it's even on - still walks with too much tension on the leash. The instructions imply you're not suppose to do any correcting really - it tells you how to basically do treat training with it. I thought, by the description, it's suppose to be like the head halters that help with the pulling? Does anyone else have this same problem, or is Kasey just clueless?!
