What is good home remedy to reduce the appearance of scars and also break down scar tissue? My dog just had abdominal exploratory surgery so she will most likely have a big scar on her belly from the incision. I want to limit scaring and scar tissue as much as possible.

I'm using emu oil on myself for the massive amounts of scratches I get at work (hazard of the job). I have used it on dog cuts as well with great success. A little of this stuff goes a long way as well.
