I just finished the Michael Ellis "The Power of Training Dogs with Food" DVD and I'm ready to purchase his competitive heeling DVD, but I can't find it anywhere on the site? It was referenced to in the Food DVD, which is why I am a little lost. Has it even been released yet?
Leih is correct - the second dvd you need is the tug dvd - the food dvd and the tug dvd are the foundation for all of the training exercises (IE heeling:jumps; send away etc etc)
I am currently editing the heeling dvd - it will replace the old heeling dvdI did years ago - http://leerburg.com/304.htm I recommend people wait for the new on and not get the old one.
I have way too much information to put into these exercises dvds to repeat the information in the tug or food work dvds. Actually it would be impossible - the tug dvd is 5 1/2 hours and the food dvd is 4 hours.
Not sure when it will be doine. On Sept 17th I go back to CA and Michaels school to film the course on raising puppies. That will probably be the video I proiduce after heeling. It takes me months of intense work to edit these dvds so I cant give you a time frame - maybe what I will do it keep an update in the newsletter of how far along I am in the priduction as time passes.
Another club member and I were going to purchase the tug and heeling DVDs concurrently, but since only one is available at the time we will get that one.
