Does anyone know of a legitimate wholesale company that sells real narcotics (not pseudo) to a legitimate K9 training facility who is properly licensed with the State and DEA? The DEA will only sell to law enforcement agencies. The K9 training facility is run by law enforcement officers off duty thus not a law enforcement agency. The DEA says there are 3 or 4 narcotics wholesalers in the United States but will not provide the name of even one them. We have looked extensively on the internet with no luck. Calling around to other facilities has yielded no results either. I know it is possible to buy from other LEO agencies but the DEA is mandating the facility list a wholesaler to buy from. Kind of a catch 22. I've been in law enforcement related to narcotics for six years. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wish I could help. I'm just not familiar with any company that sells drugs for training. Cocaine could be purchased from any drug wholesaler, as it's a pharmacutical. You'd need a 222 that came with your DEA license. I honestly was not aware of any company that could sell Schedule I drugs. I've also never heard of law enforcement selling drugs. We can put them in our training supply, with an order fro a judge, or we can destroy them. Never heard of being allowed to sell them. Generally the DEA license I've seen issued to law enforcement (researcher) did not permit sales or distrabution. I'm just a back-woods old dog trainer though, so there may well be a place that sells them. I'm just not aware of any.
