I know there is already another "Thank You" thread on here but I wanted to start my own. Since I have found this site I have been seeing great progress with my dog. I have always worked on training her, but our training had stagnated and became boring to both of us. My leadership status was seriously slipping as well.
All that in combination with the young adolescent phase my dog is in we were not having a good time to say the least.
This mornings walk and obedience session was by far the best we have ever had. My wild, excitable dog held a down stay, NO corrections, with FOUR high energy off leash dogs playing 25 yards away! This is amazing!
We also passed a little dog on a flexi lead and I was able to keep her completely engaged with me just by playing with a pine cone. This would not have been the outcome a month ago.
Thank you to everybody here for sharing your knowledge, and a BIG thanks to Ed and Cindy for keeping this site running and producing the DVDs.

It's really gratifying, isn't it, when you can see these kind of results! Nice job Lauren!
It really is amazing to see the progress which can be made by those who ask for help, give it some time and effort - and a pocket full of goodies, isn't it? Good for you and your pup!

Congrats on all the hard work, Lauren - progress is so infectious too, the more you accomplish, the more you suddenly believe is possible. Keep up the great work!
Natalya, I LOVE he new pic of Oscar! I wanted to take a similar pic of Tasha next week for her first birthday, but I doubt she will let me. Im gonna try anyway.
This past Halloween I tried to get her in a costume and she bit me!

It was in honor of Connie's birthday yesterday, but Oscar's b-day is actually coming up in a few weeks, so maybe we'll just keep it there.
The trick to getting the dog nice and still for a good photo is all in the cake making... once they figure out that the deliciousness is for them, they straighten right up and do exactly as you ask. Happy early birthday to Tasha!
