I'm just now watching the streaming videos of the Michael Ellis lecture. Wow. I've just gotten through the second part, but so far it is the clearest explanation on the how and why of clicker training that I've heard.
Most of the explanations I've heard consist of a much more basic explanation or one that is so technical my eyes start to glaze over. As I listened to Michael explain it was like the light bulb went on and I understand the process much more clearly now - even though I've used clicker training with pretty decent success for a while now.
Well said, Mara. I've watched the free ME streaming video lecture over and over again and have learned so much. The man is a genius with dogs AND people.
