I noticed two weeks ago that My almost 6 month old GSD, Roger, appeared to double in size in a very short period of time. He has always been a large pup, but he seemed to go from a puppy to looking like a full grown dog rather fast! I have not had any dogs that have had Pano, but I was thinking he would be a prime one to get it. I reduced his food to give him a little more of an hour glass figure on Easter, and last night after an outdoor training session, he started to limp, tonight he is limping again!
I was looking at the herbal remedies under healthcare on this site, any suggestions? He is fed a Raw diet.
My younger Shepherd seems to keep spraining his right foot or something. We increased his omega 3's with a different concentrated salmon oil for the anti inflammatory help.
At first I thought it may be Pano, but the last time I watched him hurt himself. Are you sure he didnt just tweak something?

I'd probably get him checked by a vet before starting any remedy. I notice you are located in the Boston area; something to consider is Lyme Disease. About 7 or 8 years ago, my dog presented with limping which switched from leg to leg; I thought Pano and it turned out to be Lyme in FEBRUARY.
We have some temperature resistant ticks in this area; so if you haven't been using a tick repellent, it is worth checking out. I live at the foot of the Blue Hills and Lyme is epedemic.
Thanks Steve! I am with him 24/7, and there has not been anything that has happened that I could say contributed to his limp, but anything is possible. He is not at all a jumpy, bouncy pup, and I do not let him jump in/out of my truck. My first thought was that he did something to it, and I will continue to watch it and keep him low key. I will increase his omega 3, thanks for the advice, if it is pano, I am looking for alternatives. Shiela, I am taking him to my vet and I am certain that she will test for lyme's, she's very diligent, and I have not yet put him on any type of repellent.
