yeah this is the site, would you mind elaborating? I am always looking for another opinion, especially as I am a rookie raw feeder!
I have one dog who is on a low fat diet and I do use a mixer in the AM called Preference by the honest kitchen. http://www.thehonestkitchen.com/products/preference/ I do this as a time saver since he's my only dog on raw 100% of the time. Mixers are optional, and in most cases not needed if you have the stuff and time to make the complete diet on your own. What a mixer should not contain are ingredients like wheat, corn, or soy.
Now from what I can tell the mixer Wholebake is primarily cereal grains with some veggie matter thrown in. I wish there was an actual ingredients list somewhere. It's suppose to be 1/3 of the diet plus raw. First off a dog needs cereal grains about as much as a cow needs chicken. Second 1/3 of the diet being mixer is a bit overboard IMHO.
Have you picked up any books on raw? There is a variety of them on this site. There are also a variety of opinions on how to do raw correctly so for most there is a bit of trial and error to see what works well for you.
yes I would like to see the ingredients listed, we make supplements and always list whats in them, I thought it was a requirement now, but because people don't want their product copied, they often leave the nitty gritty out, I have taken on board what everyone has said, I will have a rethink now on the direction I want to take, thats the problem with flying blind, it is so easy to be lead down the wrong path when looking for the right thing to do by the dogs! Thank you for the heads up.
