Procter and Gamble is buying Natura, the company that makes Evo, Innova, California Natural, etc... I found the following information on dogfoodproject.com:
"Natura's brands include Innova, Evo, California Natural, Healthwise, Mother Nature and Karma."
------
If you have successfully been feeding any Natura foods (e.g. Innova, Evo, Healthwise, Karma Organic) to your pets over the years and want to continue to do so without worrying about the involvement of a multi-national corporate giant, please contact the company and tell them that you don't like the idea of their selling out.
Procter & Gamble Co. has signed a deal to buy privately held pet food company Natura Pet Products Inc. and hopes to close on it in about a month, but it isn't set in stone yet.
Please send your polite, well-thought out messages about your concerns to custserv@naturapet.com or call (800) 532-7261.
I saw that on the Natura website the other day. I wasn't thrilled. I wanted to switch my Beardie to Innova--I'm not quite ready to go raw with him yet.
I already sent them a letter and called to voice my dissent.
Even though I feed raw, I like the canned meat for convenience on occasion. I hate to see P&G taking over.

I wrote them and complained too. Even though I prefer raw, you just *know* that P&G is going to screw the food up and there need to be some decent foods on the market for regular folks.
