They make me realize that they are learning inspite of my crappy training. Yes, Helga is a new addition, but I am raising Kari (the black muzzled Tan coloured puppy ) for a friend. So he will leave me shortly . Then I will be left with 2 dobes and 1 Rajapalayam ( Kaiser, Helga and bommi) Bommi was having a bout of GI trouble and had not eaten for two days. I had to take her to the vet and get Glucose/Antibiotics administered IV. So she was a bit mellow. She is doing better this afternoon and eating a bit. When I train these puppies, I am amazed to find out how quickly they catch on to the concept of "Hey!!, my actions can make this man do some thing I want". I was not seeing that behaviour in Helga till a week back, she would just sit when I say sitz and not have that look in her eyes.But in the past 4-5 days some switch has turned on in her head and she knows that she can work me into giving her treats. She turns 2 months this 22nd.
