Update>> Kaiser wants to play with every dog he sees on the road. Is this a result of the Premack's principle I use with him for select dogs? I have a few dogs in the neighbourhood that he can play with, but he needs to give me obedience before he can "Go say hello".
Today I had a close call where he thought he could go say hello to an aggressive dog because he gave me obedience. He did not wait for my "Go say hello". I thank my lucky stars that nothing bad happend.
He thinks he can "go say hello" to all dogs, which can be disasterous. Should I stop the whole premack's thing and just stick with treats, good boy and a tug ( when he is done teething )
