I got a pair of Dogtra 1900 NCPs from the US through a friend. Turned it upto level 17 (for kaiser)level 22 (for Bommi) after figuring out what is needed to stop them from chasing a cat. I think that would be good enough to stop them chasing a dog.

Anyway, with my new found confidence I took Kaiser and Bommi to the Marina Beach today. I should say that I am rather proud of them as they are such good puppies. I have a bit more confidence in Kaiser as compared to bommi. This is mostly because I work more with kaiser than bommi. But Bommi surprised me by being almost as good as kaiser in almost all the areas ( except the long down)

In the video I have attached, I dont use the E collar at all. It is there just in case my dogs decide to chase after some thing. I did not have to use it even once. But the confidence it gives me helps me train them a bit more.

I am working on Engagement, recall, loose heel, sloppy down, sit and look at me in this video.

After seeing Michael Ellis DVD, I have decided that I need to take several big steps backwards and work on the basics, most important being engagement. It is a work in progress but I have taken the first step.
