I'm really glad so many folks are enthusiastic about the training video contest!!!
1. I have to check with the good folks at Leerburg in regard to whether it is possible, without being a pain in the rump, to do a "group payment" gift certificate. I am not comfortable asking something which makes life a pain for them.
2. If easier on LB, I am willing to front the money based on what you guys say you will contribute and you can send me cash or checks. (I don't have a paypal set up - is that hard or a pain to do?) The amount you wish to donate can be sent to me via PM.
3. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY TO PLAY! Those who want to pitch in can pitch in - those who prefer not to don't have to. Everyone okay with that? (I didn't consider a "real" prize when first posting the idea and don't want anyone excluded because things changed...)
4. My understanding is that Michael Wise (aka "wafghan man") is going to post step by step instructions on how to post/upload a video. I'll confirm with him.
5. Everyone gets to pick what ever they want to train - only rule is it has to be a new behavior. This is to get us off our butts this week, not show off something you've already trained.
6. I have not contacted any of the mods regarding judgeing yet, but will do so. If they prefer to not participate at this time, I'll ask a few of the folks who don't have a camera to be our judges.
7. Remember even some cell phones have video capability!
8. Does a final posting date of Sunday Aug. 15 sound okay?
9. Proposed Categories: Cutest
Most original
Funniest
Most Difficult
(Let me know if these work or don't work... open to suggestions)

Edit reason: categories
Not unless we can see video of her eating a cat and then an "after" video of NOT eating said cat. Could get kinda gross... might need a whole new category for this type of behavior.
With a final posting date of Sunday the 15th, we could open voting on Monday for all the forum members until the following Sunday, and then announce the winners based on a tally.
One vote per member, every Leerburg member can vote, but no one may vote for their own video.
