happy to quickly report: Finn just went #2. Normal logs normal color (for eating dirt today) and perfect softness. Formed but not hard. Yes. Do we still need the rice and chicken diet? Hes got normal stools. Wait till morning to see how the stools are from the TOTW?
Update: Finn's stools are a bit darker in color then with the corn. A normal brown instead of a dark tan. But they are formed soft logs. I knowticed he has just a tiny like pea size drop of fluid when he is completely finished. I was thinking it might be intestion or colon jucies?

formed logs firm yes but soft to squish in the poop bag? I dont mean to be gross but I do squish it in the bag to make sure he isnt eating something he shouldnt... like my carpet (teething ugh.).
Think of the Hill's as Astronaut food. Its totally artificial, disgusting, and unidentifiable... But it still keeps ya alive. Just uses complete chemical wizardry to get there. I vote for mixing in the new food (slooooowly). But if he has ANY more suspicious looking poop, chicken and rice time.
He's doing well. If he would not drink the river water while swimming but thats just my pup lol. Otherwise I took a 15 lb bag of TOTW and 3 lbs of hills and mixed. He is getting this till its gone and then he's going to be fully on TOTW. No more grains for this pup.
I also knowticed when the girls have bran flakes and a few land on the floor and he gets them before I get them cleaned.. (hubby).. he gets pasty poos. So I think for sure it was the grain.
