Hi everybody -
Over in the meat section of the local grocery store I've discovered they sell "cut cow foot". Have any of you guys ever fed those to your dogs as part of their RMBs? With the packaging, it's hard to tell how much bone there is, how big the bones are, how much is cartilage, and how much is meat. I don't think there is any hoof, but I'm not completely sure. Suggestions?
Mostly bone, some ligament, some cartilage. Meat? I doubt there is any meat on a cow foot.
I wouldn't pay money for them unless I was extremely bored and wanted a novel experience (watching my dogs chew on them). If I were going to feed odd foods I would rather have my dogs suck down small intestines (it would be more entertaining and provide them with more nutrients than a cow foot).
Oh wait, I DO feed my dogs small intestines (that come with the cow). They get the occasional cow foot that is attached to the leg that they chew the meat off of. Then I dispose of the leg bones and feet.
