he is a puppy 5 months, we were playing tug and his mouth was bleeding , im assuming that is normal with teething, etc or perhaps a baby tooth popped out, ???
That happened with a pup we were watching too. I actually got to watch one pop right out . Its perfectly normal and should be over with pretty shortly.

LOL yeah this happened today and his bite seems so weak right now too he can barely chomp on the tug , hope he is just teething
yes probably just teething but if you plan to do any type of bite work with him you may want to be very careful so you don't create an issue with the dog not wanting to bite due to the pain he experienced.
Most people stop with the tug play while a pup is going through the teething process. It can be painful, and as Reggie said, if you're planning on doing any sport/PPD work with him you don't want to associate the tug with pain. I'd stop till you see the big kid teeth. Play fetch, marker train, lots of alternatives to tug!
